Last week, we spent the day at the St. Albert Children's Festival. It was so much fun!
We started the day making paper. We had to collect the paper fibre with sieves and sponge off any extra water:
Next, we watched an amazing performance of, "Junie B. Jones: The Musical" by the St. Albert's Children's Theatre.
On our way to our next activity, we took a pit-stop at the "Energy Education" Trailer:
Our last activity was "Beadwork Blossoms." We first listened to the history of Metis beadwork as well as an ancient legend. Then, we worked hard to make these beaded flower bracelets:
We also managed to sneak in airbrush tattoos, time on the bouncy castle, and a photo opp with our classmates. All and all, we had a fantastic day!
