Last Thursday, we attended the St. Albert Sabres vs Winnipeg's Rink Hockey Academy game of the John Reid Memorial Tournament at Servus Place. St. Albert lost 7-3, but that didn't stop us from having a good time!

The last day of school before Christmas was Keeno's annuals PJ, Pancake, and Movie Day. After a delicious pancake breakfast, the grade 3's were settled themselves with blankets and pillows to watch, "Arthur Christmas." The day flew by! Merry Christmas, Everyone!
The Grinch Christmas concert was amazing! Our class worked really hard to learn our songs - both singing and on the drums! Here we are rehearsing in the music room: Dress Rehearsal: Everyone looked amazing in their Grinch costumes! But we were also tuckered out after performing three concerts in a row! Great job everyone! We had a great time on our rocks and minerals field trip last week! We were able to review all the information we had learned in our Rocks and Minerals science unit, examine many different types of rocks, make a model volcano erupt, and make a mini model of layered rock out of coloured sand. We also made a Christmas pottery craft out of clay to gift to our parents for Christmas. Check out the pics below!
We are lucky to be paired with Mrs. Wilson's grade one class this year! We are helping our little buddies learn to read, honing our own reading skills, and learning to be good role models! Check out the pics below!
